Who we are

Relay is a SaaS platform that lets businesses run an AI Agent on their business WhatsApp number. The service is operated by Yakov Haviv, Licensed Dealer No. 200886653, Ramat Gan, Israel. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how to delete it.

Data we collect

  • Account details: email, name, business name.
  • WhatsApp messages that customers send to the business number you've connected to Relay, plus the sender's name and phone number, so the Agent can reply.
  • The WhatsApp Business Account and phone number IDs you connect, and an access token that lets us send and receive messages on your behalf.
  • Knowledge base content you upload (FAQs, pricing, policies).
  • Basic usage data: message counts, response times, errors.

WhatsApp and data from Meta

When you connect a number through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, we receive from Meta the messages sent to that number, their delivery status and the account identifiers. We use this data only to operate the Agent for the business that connected the number: routing messages to the right business, generating and sending replies, and showing conversations in that business's inbox. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties other than the sub-processors listed here.

How we use it

We use your data only to operate the service for you: generate replies, book appointments, qualify leads. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models.

Sub-processors

We use the following processors: Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform, message delivery), Vercel (hosting), Neon (Postgres in the EU), Anthropic (the language model that writes replies), Resend (email), and Lemon Squeezy (billing as Merchant of Record).

Data retention

We keep data while the account is active. When you disconnect a WhatsApp number, we delete its access token and stop receiving its messages.

Data deletion

  1. You can disconnect your WhatsApp number at any time from Settings > WhatsApp in your account.
  2. To delete your account and all data (including conversations and data received from Meta), email office@userelay.tech from the address registered on the account.
  3. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.

A customer of a business that uses Relay who wants their conversations deleted can contact that business, or us directly at the same address.

GDPR / Privacy rights

If you are an EU citizen (or in a jurisdiction with similar law, including Israel), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data. Contact us at office@userelay.tech.
